We provide a fully managed, end-to-end procurement, supply chain and technical support service to King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KCH), one of London’s major trauma centres.

We are responsible for managing an aggregate £500m spend for KCH covering clinical, capital and corporate procurement. In addition, we manage a fast growing independent sector spend in both the UK and overseas across a variety of clinical and non-clinical categories.

Our service includes Omnicell implementation, management and training in both the NHS and Independent Sector, including management of our existing fleet of over 450 Omnicell cabinets currently situated at KCH.

With a high-profile international presence and extensive strategic relationships with suppliers, we are well-positioned to support standardisation and rationalisation projects through our proven model in international markets.

Alongside King’s Commercial Services (KCS), our sister subsidiary within the King’s Group, KFM have a strategic partnership with Ashmore Group plc to help deliver clinical best practice and value for money procurement.

  • Cromwell Hospital, based in London, is an internationally renowned private hospital, operated by Bupa.

    At KFM, we provide clinical procurement services to the hospital across their entire clinical consumable and medical device spend and have successfully driven cost savings and operational efficiencies by improved supplier contracting, category management and standardisation programmes.

  • St John & St Elizabeth Hospital is one of the UK’s largest independent charitable hospitals.

    We are working closely with the hospital to provide an end-to-end procurement and supply chain service to release revenue generating time spent by clinical teams on transactional ordering and procurement processes.

Our end-to-end procurement and supply chain process enabled us to work with KCH to set up a Standardisation Committee to focus specifically on working together to procure better and more cost-effective products.

This in turn led to the rationalisation and standardisation of our product catalogue from over 48,000 product lines down to 14,000
