KFM and King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Collaborate in Neonatal in-vitro Study
KFM and King’s College Hospital, recently collaborated in a neonatal in-vitro study aimed at researching the effect of inflation pressure on end-tidal carbon dioxide levels in neonatal care.
Jonathan Saka, KFM’s Lead Paediatric Technologist and co-author of the study, played a pivotal role in assembling a ventilator system. This system utilised a synthetic baby lung (test lung) to replicate the intricate complexities of a baby's lung. Three tests were carried out on different neonatal conditions;
KFM and St John & St Elizabeth Hospital enter into partnership to deliver an end-to-end procurement and supply chain service
On Wednesday 1 November 2023, KFM entered into a contract with St John & St Elizabeth Hospital (HJE) to provide an end-to-end procurement and supply chain service.
This new service provided by KFM means HJE gains greater access to state-of-the-art technology, improved efficiencies and cost savings that will enhance both patient and staff experience, whilst improving sustainability efforts.

Supporting King’s College Hospital’s ‘Gloves Off’ campaign
We’ve been supporting the 'Gloves Off' campaign which launched in October 2022. The campaign has been making significant strides in promoting sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KCH). By aiming to minimise the use of single-use disposable gloves, the campaign has not only resulted a number of benefits and cost savings but is one of the many ways the Trust is working to meet their sustainability and recycling waste targets.

KFM support donation to Ukrainian hospitals
In August 2022, KFM's Logistics team supported UK charity, British-Ukrainian Aid, with a donation of medical consumables for distribution to hospitals and treatment facilities across Ukraine.
KFM supports The Havens
Over the past few months, KFM have been supporting The Havens, a network of specialist sexual assault referral centres, located in Denmark Hill, Paddington and Whitechapel. Along with delivering required stock to The Havens, KFM have also set up storage areas for toiletry packs on site, which are given to individuals under The Havens’ care.
KFM 'bots' support King's transfer from Bank Partners in-house

KFM robots create efficiencies in King's College Hospital Workforce Development and Finance
