We are developing the use of Robotic Process Automation technology in many areas of hospital life to improve efficiency and patient care. We work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams identifying process improvements as well as designing and deploying digitally automated solutions.
Robotic Process Automation
Our RPA team builds, deploys, and manages software robots that emulate human actions interacting with digital systems and software. Just like people, our software robots do things such as understand what’s on a screen, complete the right keystrokes, navigate systems, identify and extract data, and perform a wide range of defined actions.
Our software robots can often work faster than people, having already saved our various Trust and external customers many 1000s of hours undertaking tasks that are best completed by software robots.
We offer an end-to-end service, installing and implementing the technology, conducting business analysis at the start of an engagement to map the ‘as is’ and the ‘to be’ of potential processes, develop processes and provide ongoing support for automated processes in production.
We are already working extensively across Finance, Workforce Development and Pharmacy operations within King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, delivering cost savings and efficiency benefits.
